  1. Starbucks released its brand new website solely for China on February 27th, a strong step forward in its “digital flywheel” strategy (Rewards + Payment + Personalization + Ordering). How well does it fare in terms of UX/UI and fulfilling the coffee giant’s aspirations?

  2. While technical innovation has come on leaps and bounds since the early 19th century, these Luddite-inspired trends are still present in the form of the “neo-Luddite”.

  3. If you’re reading this it’s probably safe to say your business has decided to implement an online customer feedback programme. Excellent choice! The next step is to start setting things into motion (in other words, collecting feedback), which can be challenging without the proper guidance. If you already have goals set out for your business, you’re certainly on the right track. Now all you’re going to need is a strategy that encompasses those goals, which – in the case of feedback – can be as simple as using a feedback form template, or at least understanding how a feedback form should be designed…

  4. Over the years, Zero-In has had a half-dozen versions of its website, and relaunching the site never seems to get any easier despite our attempts to learn lessons from each previous launch. In 2015 we set out to redesign our site once again with excitement, optimism, and confidence that prior web design blunders were a thing of the past. We conservatively planned to have the site up and running in less than six months. Spoiler alert... This project ended up taking nearly 18 months and cost 50% more than expected.

  5. A common misconception among digital marketers is thinking that online user feedback and online reviews are one and the same. And we can’t exactly blame them. On the surface these two appear to be almost identical: both collect input (Voice of the Customer data) from online visitors and customers, both include user ratings or scores, both are used to build a loyal customer base, and so on. But the truth is, they serve two very different purposes….

  6. Marketing is a cornerstone of the business world, regardless of industry, and whether you succeed or become another statistic depends on how successful your marketing efforts are. 7. Businesses nowadays are becoming increasingly more customer-centric on their digital channels, and for a good reason too. Studies show that companies that put their customers at the core of their business are nearly 60% more profitable than those that don’t. So what are these companies doing to achieve this success exactly? Many of them are ‘passing the mic’ to their customers. In other words, giving their customers a voice through customer feedback software such as Medallia for Digital.

  9. Voice of the Customer (VoC) software is intended to capture the opinions and preferences of online customers, analyse those insights, and supply businesses with the means to create meaningful changes in digital customer experience (CX). As priorities are continuously being placed on CX initiatives, it’s safe to say that these kinds of software aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Not to mention, having a VoC programme in place has become increasingly more popular and essential, especially as more and more businesses (nearly 72% to be precise) continue to place CX as their top priority. So how do you know which type of VoC software is right for your business?
